A Fusion of History and Luxury

The Dahan Guanfang liquor packaging design, created by the talented designer Lijuan Zhang, is a true masterpiece that seamlessly blends history, culture, and luxury. Inspired by the prosperous Han Dynasty in Chinese history, this design showcases the imperial seal culture and the symbolism of power and status associated with the Han dragon.

One of the unique features of the Dahan Guanfang design is the use of the emperor's jade seal as the bottle cap. This creative choice not only reflects the emperor's authority but also adds a touch of regality to the packaging. The package itself is designed to be opened from simple to complex, creating a sense of anticipation and ceremony.

Upon opening the package, a magnificent illustration of China's four great beasts, Qinglong, White Tiger, Suzaku, and Xuanwu, along with famous events from the Han Dynasty, unfolds before your eyes. This intricate design showcases the splendor and prosperity of the Chinese Han Dynasty court, immersing the consumer in a rich historical experience.

The Dahan Guanfang liquor packaging is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The special packaging technique of bronzing adds a touch of elegance, while the ceramic bottle with roasted gold exudes a sense of luxury. The golden plastic cap, fashioned after the emperor's seal, completes the design with a regal flourish.

Measuring at 165mm x 120mm x H300mm, the packaging box is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides excellent protection for the product. Its simple yet sturdy design ensures that the contents remain safe and secure.

The Dahan Guanfang design project was launched in June 2020 and completed in November 2020. Throughout the design process, the team faced the challenge of ingeniously reflecting the history of the Han Dynasty and showcasing its prosperity. The solution was found in the opening of the box shape, which gradually reveals the historical illustrations, allowing the viewer to immerse themselves in the vibrant history of the Han Dynasty.

This exceptional design has been recognized and awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2022. The award acknowledges the creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skills demonstrated in the Dahan Guanfang design.
